Lockers
Lockers are available on the second floor of the Hardie building for students to store their belongings throughout the academic year. Contact Campus Life to complete a locker agreement and obtain a locker assignment.
Kitchen
There is a kitchen located on the first floor of the Hardie building, near the back entrance. It is equipped with a sink, microwave, oven, and stove for your use. Please keep the area as clean as you found it.
Micro-Mart
The micro-mart on the first floor of the Hardie building has snacks, drinks, and small meals available for purchase. There is also a microwave in the micro-mart to heat up any cold meals you may purchase.
Lounges
There are many places around campus where you can stop, rest, and take a break between classes.
- 248 Cabot Street: Throughout our building at 248 Cabot Street, there is soft seating scattered around the first and second floors for your use.
- The Hardie Building: The second floor is equipped with long study tables and high-top chairs for you to take advantage of. There is also a small comfy seating area on the second floor for you to sit down and relax.
Cafés & Restaurants
Our campus is within walking distance of many great establishments. Visit Montserrat Community to explore places to visit around town.
Public Transportation
Public transportation to Boston and surrounding areas is available by train from downtown Beverly.
- There is MBTA Bus (#451) service available to/from Salem through downtown Beverly, Monday-Friday only. View train schedules and fare information.
- The Cape Ann Transportation Authority provides local bus service within Beverly. The cost is $0.50 per trip, $1.00 for a round trip and runs Monday-Saturday.
Parking
Any student who plans to park on campus must register their car and obtain a parking sticker from the Dean of Students. View parking around Montserrat. Parking is also available at the following locations:
- Dane Street Church parking lot: Monday 8:00 a.m. - Friday 6:00 p.m.
- Parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis in yellow parking spaces only, except for the spaces closest to the building at the north side of the lot. The Dane Street Church uses the parking lot for church services during weeknights and on the weekends, so no parking is permitted. Vehicles illegally parked (no stickers, not in designated yellow spaces, etc.) in the Dane St. Church lot shall be subject to a violation notice and/or towing at the vehicle owner’s expense.
- Winter Street and much of Essex Street offer free parking.
- Public pay lots on Federal Street and Pond Street.
- Hardie building lot from 7:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m., daily.
